Hi team,

I have some questions.

#1.

What is the state of the CSI output when Lock is unintentionally dropped during normal operation?

Does the 954 try to keep sending data with errors, or is it in the LP11 state?

Does the ser keep trying to send the received MIPI CSI data to 954 even if the lock is lost?

If Port 0 Receiver Enable is set to "0-> 1" while receiving HS from the Ser side, will DPHY-Cp / Cn output LP-11?

I think LPS output will not be output during the image blanking period, because the clock is in “Continues” mode.

Is LPS status output only when Port 0 Receiver is enabled from disabled?

Hello Tomoaki,

1. If lock is lost the CSI-2 report will enter LP-11 after the output buffer is drained (buffer depth is typically ~2 video lines)

2. Yes, SER will continue to try to send forward channel data regardless of receiver lock

3. The receiver will start forwarding data after the first full MIPI CSI-2 packet is received after the port is enabled. If the port is enabled mid way through an incoming CSI-2 packet, that packet will not be received, but the next valid short or long packet will be forwarded.

Yes, Yoshida. The CSI-2 package can be long package with one line.
