Hi Team,

My customer would like to know if there is any limitation on the TUSB8044AEVM for cable length? They would like to use a 2m long cable to evaluate this part.

    Hi Mitchell,

    TUSB8044A supports the max cable lengths defined in the USB specification.  5M cables for USB 2.0 and while USB 3.0 max cable lengths are defined by cable characteristics, typical long USB 3.0 cables are 3M, TUSB8044A can also support 5M USB 3.0 cables but they are less common.

    2M cables are fine.
