DP83822I: ACK lights flashing when data communication

Part Number: DP83822I

hi team,

About DP83822I, I want to ask if I can configuration link as constant light while ACK as flashing during normal data communication? and how?

thanks.

  • Hello Kelly,

LED_0 and LED_1 can be configured via straps as shown in "Table 13. LED Configuration". In addition LED_0, LED_1 (GPIO1), COL (GPIO2) and RX_D3 (GPIO3) can also be configured via register configuration. "The LED configuration modes are selected using the LEDs Configuration Register (LEDCFG1, register 0x0460) and the Multi-LED Control Register (MLEDCR, register 0x0025)."

    Thanks,

    Vibhu

  • Hi Vibhu,

I see in the table 13 of mode 1&2,

    "ON for Good Link

    BLINK for TX/RX Activity"

but what about OFF indicates under this mode?

Can I choose a mode that can be "ON for Good Link; BLINK for TX/RX Activity; OFF for no link" in the same time?

    Thanks.

  • Hello Kelly,

"ON for Good Link BLINK for TX/RX Activity" includes OFF for not "Good Link". Both modes 1 and 2 meet your requirement.

    Thanks,

    Vibhu
