I want to Ground shift test of can bus

Can you share me the connection diagram for the test?

How can I make a groung shift condition?

- When the DUT reaches the ground offset 2V, it must maintain normal communication behavior, and can correctly send and receive bus messages

- When the DUT reaches the ground offset of - 2V, it must maintain normal communication behavior and can correctly send and receive bus messages

Hello,

You would need a DUT whose ground reference is independent (i.e., not directly connected to earth or otherwise shared with the monitoring equipment). Then, you could simply place a DC power supply (set to 2 V) between the grounds of the monitoring equipment and the DUT. The DC power supply should also support (+) and (-) terminals that do not directly connect to earth so that the power supply can be connected with either polarity (so that both +2 V and -2 V offsets can be supported). Hi,

I've created a visual guide to what Max described above. The ground offset will be provided by the second power supply while both devices are powered by the same 12V source. In these tests, Vsup of the EUC will vary because we are moving its ground reference. Vsup will remain in the recommended operating range of TCAN1043. If this difference is an issue with the tests, let me know and I can suggest another configuration.
