Hi Champs,

I have question about Vos spec in the datasheet, please also check attached file.

Vos is defined in the group of "FPD-LINK III DRIVER SPECIFICATIONS(DIFFERENTIAL)" in Electrical Characteristic clause.

I suppose Vos should be a parameter for single ended, so may I know how Vos defined in differential condition.

Hi Nobuo,

Let's suppose the diff. output pins are D+ and D-, for these two pins, it has output bias voltage as Vbias+ and Vbias-, the diff. Vos is defined as Vdiff_os = Vbias+-Vbias-. this Vdiff_os is very small.

May I confirm my understanding is correct as below?

- VOS specified in 953 datasheet is Vbias+ (or Vbias-) in your answer, which is 575mV(typ).

- ΔVOS specified in 953 datasheet is Vdiff_os in your answer.

- Attached updated image in below is correct?

Hi Nobuo,

in your picture, the single-end signal has Vos+ and Vos- in the Dout+ and Dout- respectively. and the Vdiff_os is (Vos+ - Vos-). In my answer, the Vbias+ is equal to the Vos+ listed in your picture.
