DS90UB933-Q1: 933 / 934 initialization communication

Part Number: DS90UB933-Q1

Hi team,

The attached is the schematic diagram of part 933 provided by the customer. Is there anything that needs to be modified?

The present situation is as follows:

Power on the 934 module. After the customer product is connected through the 933 output signal, the indicator light indicates that the connection is OK, and the data transmission is OK. However, grasping the rout0-9 end with an oscilloscope is a messy waveform. Is it because 933 and 934 are not initialized? Or does it need to configure some parameters of the 934 module?

  • Hi, please check:

    1. what is the clock mode of ub933? and what is the link mode between ub933 and ub934, is it raw10 or raw12? please make sure the design match with the d/s request on clock mode and link mode description

    2. what is the GPO2 pin connection? it is recommended to have 40kohms pulled-down resistor

    3. does the UB934 be locked? if not, please check the link margin is good or not?

    4. what is the measured pclk freq. in ub933 and the pclk freq. in ub934, are they same?

these are helpful to understand what happens in your total system.

    best regards,

    Steven
