DS90UB948-Q1: If T5(Valid data on RIN± to VDDx delay)<0, can our device work normally?

Dear team,

In our datasheet, T5's recommended minimum is 0ms. But T5=-290ms in the customer's design, do we need to change this? What does this value affect? Is there any bad impact?

Hello Sherry,

Typically we recommend powering up the deserializer after the serializer side of the link is active. However it should not have any negative impact. If you want to make the startup more deterministic then you can also reset the deserializer via registers after ~300ms
