Just a question, looking at DP83TC811EVM, there is no pulse trans between MatENET and IC. Is this common use-case?

Hi Vibhu,

The application is factory automation. This is R&D. We are just interested in. We want to know if this is the common use-case for one pair Etherent.

Hello Uchikoshi-san,

Yes, this is a common use case. The DP83TC811 is an automotive qualified PHY and hence the EVM using capacitors for DC-blocking and then the choke. As opposed to the Pulse magnetics part.
