SN65LV1023A: the operation of SYNC1 or SYNC2 and reference circuit

Part Number: SN65LV1023A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65LV1224B,

Dear all,

I would like to ask about SYNC1 and SYNC2 pin and reference circuit.

Our customer is using SN65LV1023A / SN65LV1224B to communicate using LVDS.
I would like to answer the following questions:
1. When the deserialized LOCK pin and SYNC1 pin (SYNC2 pin) are connected, the functions of SYNC1 and SYNC2 are recognized as follows.
1. A pattern signal is sent when SYNC1 and SYNC2 are set to High. 2. When the receiver is locked, SYNC1 and SYNC2 will go low, and normal data transmission will begin.
In other words, is SYNC1 and SYNC2 fixed at High at startup, is it OK?

2. Is there any reference circuit using SN65LV1023A / SN65LV1224B other than EVM circuit?

Best Regards,

Y.Ottey
