Hi we are working in power bank project, in that we are using BQ25713, TUSB422, and MSP430, all the other components, schematic are given by TI.

We have figured out the issue that happens in TUSB422 during DFP, when we are working in UFP mode(adapter”5v,2A;9V,1.67A” to “12.6v,4.8Ah standalone battery”) it works fine, if we work in DFP mode(“12.6v,4.8Ah standalone battery” to TYPE C mobile phone) during the start up, mobile phone disconnects few times then it comes to charge up; we doubt in the TUSB422 and BQ25713 configuration process during DFP mode, so please help us to configure TUSB422 and BQ25713 during DFP mode.

did you check DFP configuration process 7.3.3 in 422 datasheet?

we don't familair with BQ25713, During power up, the charger sets converter to buck, boost or buck-boost configuration based on input source and battery conditions. The charger automatically transits among buck, boost and buck-boost configuration without host control.
