Would you pls provide the ESD rating of IEC61000-4-2 for the TRS3243IPWR as we did on the MAX3243EIDBR for customers?

    Hi Wayne,

    For our RS-232 transceivers, an "E" at the end of a part number denotes that the part includes IEC ESD protection.  So, MAX3243E is specified for IEC ESD while TRS3243 is not.  TRS3243E, on the other hand, matches the IEC ESD performance of MAX3243E.
