TUSB1046-DCI: HPDIN pin connection when using I2C control TUSB1046

Part Number: TUSB1046-DCI
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65988DJ

Hi Team,

My customer is using TPS65988DJ + TUSB1046 as solution for docking station application,

if customer using PD's I2C to control TUSB1046, in this case, when TUSB1046’s I2C_EN is not 0(not use as GPIO mode) , the CTL1/HPDIN pin will act as Hot Plug Detect Input(HPDIN) and needed to connected to PD(GPIO3 or 4 depend on which port is used for TUSB1046), and HPDIN/RSVD2 is reserved .

Is my understanding correct?
