I have a question about input termination resistor..

Which position is better in front of capacitor or In front of IC?

See below diagram.

For your reference, DS15EA101 datasheet describes the diagram that the position is in front of capacitor.

I believe the second configuration - resistor after the Capacitor - is better since it does not provide a DC path and has less signal DC or low frequency attenuation.

I think your answer is rational. However, the datasheet of 'DS15EA101' describes that the position is in front of capacitor. It is in Figure 3 on page 6.

Do you know the reason?

I am not sure about the reason for this earlier recommendation. This may work in some applications but 2nd approach is preferred.
