DS90UB964-Q1: can not communicate with DS90UB935

Hi all,

I want to use DS90UB964 + DS90UB935. And I've set 964's register 0x58 to 0x58. But the 960's register 0x5B is always 0x00.

BTW, I checked 935's register 0x37, and the value was 964's slave ID.

Maybe something that I forgot to setting?

Any ideas can help me, please?

Hi, thanks for message.

May I know what is the reg. 0x4C? to read the reg. 0x58, firstly you need assign the port number which is connected to the UB935's camera.

Is there any wrong with my setting?

Hi,

The setting doesn't matter with the reg. 0x58 reading in UB964. Can you check if reading UB964's reg. 0x00 is correct or not?

btw, we don't recommend you connect UB935 to UB964, you can use UB962 or UB960 to replace UB935.

I check UB964's reg 0x00 is correct that the value is 0x7A.

May I know why don't recommend I connect UB935 to UB964. Will there have any troubles?

Nian,

so it means the I2C is working.

Please check our d/s, UB935 is not mentioned to talk with UB964, UB964 just has RAW10/RAW12 working mode as well which is described in UB964 d/s.
