Hello TI Support:

My board is a connection between TPS65987 and TUSB546. I connected a USB3.0 HUB + DP docking station. The USB and DP displays are normal when TYPEC is not flipped. In the USB 3.1 + 2 Lane DP– With Flip mode, the display will always be recognized, that is, the display flickers. Now I do n’t know what the cause is. Please see if you can support it.

Have you tried tuning the EQ settings for the flipped path of TUSB546?

Hi,

Yes,I have set the EQ value,My use the I2C to config them ,I have set more value to do ,but the resuart is same. The hotplug also is on change in same seconds. I discover this mode is not stable,Now I don`t know What is the cause?

Hi,

Typically flickering displays are caused by signal integrity issues or toggling of HPD. If signal integrity was the root cause changing TUSB564 EQ setting should have some impact. HPD may be the root cause. Is it possible to force HPD high at all times when connection is made? Are you using external I2C master for testing?
