TUSB3410: how to communicate between 2 USB host?

Part Number: TUSB3410

Hi,

My customer need 2 android based equipment to communicate with each other, but both are USB host.

Could you please tell me how to achieve it?

This question is not limited to TUSB3410, I just want to know if we have a cheap solution for this situation.

Thanks.

  • Hi Howard,

Unless the hosts are support USB-C DRP functionality or USB OTG then this kind of application violates the USB spec. In other words, both equipment needs to have USB endpoints for the USB Host in the link to communicate with. There can not be a case where a USB host without USB device endpoints can communicate with another USB host without USB device endpoints. We do not have a device that converts a USB host to a USB device.
