DS25CP102Q-Q1: Junction temperature and power dissipation for DS25CP102QSQ/NOPB and DS25CP102TSQ/NOPB

Part Number: DS25CP102Q-Q1

Hi,

can you tell me why Junction temperature is not the same between automotive and Industrial component please?

After, there is a wrong information:

Power dissipation

-DS25CP102QSQ/NOPB 1.91w@25℃

-DS25CP102TSQ/NOPB 2.99w@25℃

Why power dissipation is different ? (Materials are the same, no?)

Thanks,

Best Regards,

  • Hi,

The power dissipation is the same.  The absolute max junction temperature is defined at 105C for the DS25CP102Q and 150C for the DS25CP102T.  Since the worst case absolute maximum junction temperature is increased by 45 degrees C, the package in the DS25CP102T could dissipate more heat at 25C.

Both devices use the same package and have the same theta JA / JC numbers.

    Regards,

    Lee
