TUSB320: PORT and ID pin pull downs when device is operating in UFP I2C mode only.

Part Number: TUSB320

Hello

I am using the TUSB320 device in UFP I2C mode only (to receive power from upstream device) and have two questions about the pins.

http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tusb320.pdf

Question 1) In the implementation on page 25 of the datasheet, the PORT pin has a pulldown resistor of 4.7k.  Is this necessary or can I tie directly to GND?

Question 2) Can the ID pin be left NC?  The implementation on page 25 shows it pulled up.  Not sure if this is necessary as it is only an output pin when in DFP and DRP modes and I will not use it.

Here is my implementation so far (SCA and SCL both have pull ups not shown in the drawing)
