I need confirmation if the Adaptive Equalizer is disabled in following mode.
1) Register 0x0A is set to value 0xB2. This sets bit[5] to select Adaptive EQ.
2) Data rate input 3.4Gbps, which will set chip in Redriver mode.
I read the datasheet that Redriver mode only has Fixed EQ. However, it is not stated explicitly whether the bit[5] in register 0x0A is overridden to have Fixed EQ.
-In another word, does the bit[5] of register 0x0A setting being ignored when in Redriver mode?
Please advise me.
