DS90UH947-Q1: Current Draw Per Link

Hi,

My customer is using the DS90UH947-Q1 with DS90UH948-Q1, and their wiring harness team would like to calculate the current draw per link. I see that the output SC current is spec'd at -20mA, but can you please advise on how they can estimate link current based on their system parameters?

Hello Antonio,

What exactly do you mean by current draw per link? Do you mean the current consumption of the serializer and deserializer ICs in their system?

They are looking for the current required by the wiring harness (output current of each serializer lane, I assume).

Antonio,

We don't specify current by wiring harness. I'm not sure what the intent for that would be but for power/current consumption they should be able to refer to our device's overall consumption per the datasheet electrical tables.
