TPS65987EVM: I2c address cannot be detected

Part Number: TPS65987EVM

A customer I'm supporting is attempting to configure the tps65987evm using the TPS65981_2_6_7_8 Application Customization 6.1.1 Configuration GUI. I am able to successfully flash the device using my new HP laptop however, when my customer uses his older Lenovo, the I2C addresses cannot be detected. Is this something you have ever seen before? I do not understand why I can detect addresses on my computer but not on the Lenovo.
