Hi,

My customer have some questions about our retimer products.

They selected DS250DF230 for the following requirements.

- 25Gbps, 1port(Tx and Rx) , I/F : 25G-AUI

Q1. Could you please let me know the difference between DS250DF230 and DS250DF210?

Q2. Can they use DS250DF230 for 10GbE?

Q3. If Yes, Can DS250DF230 support for 2 port 10GbE by 1chip? or Should I recommend DS125DF410 or DS110DF410?

Hi Muk,

Q1: DS250DF230 application is for wireless backhaul. Given this, TEMPLOCK parameter is higher for DS230 versus DS210. Please note data sheet electrical parameter table.

Q2: Yes VCO has the range to cover this data rate. Please note DS250DF230 data sheet rate/sub-rate table(Table 6).

Q3: DS250DF230 can support two port 10GbE.
