By pairing DS90UB954-Q1 with DS90UB913Q as follow:

0x58,0x58 // Back channel enabled

0x6d,0x7e // Coax-cable,RAW 12-HS mode

we experienced a lot of drop-frames.

The problem while using back channel to update register's sensor (AR0135) the frames dropping,

just to clarify, in the other side - Sensor --> Serializer ---> Deserializer - is very stable (30- fps-no drops) if not using the back channel for updating sensor's registers.

the update made by 4 registers for Auto Exposure ROI,

please advise how to stop the frames-drop,

Are you using PoC? What PoC network are you using?

Could you provide the schematics of your system?

yes- i'm using PoC - see below block-diagram :

regard the schematics- i'm using MARS DS90UB954 adapter from "OnSemi"

After looking through the datasheets and schematics (of DS-954) I found that on RIN0+ & RIN0- the capacitors are compatible with serializer 953, see (page-131 from ds954 attached).ds90ub954-q1.pdf

can you verify that the issue related to the wrong capacitors?

Hi Gil,

Could you first check your system to make sure the 954 is configured correctly for backwards compatibility mode?

After couple of testing it turns out that there is a problem on the signal integrity due to the use of POC there is probably a leakage of current on the line, we will fix it, thanks for your support.
