Hello,
What mode is the DP83TC811 strapped too? What is the bootstrap configurations if any?
What about the Marvel PHY? What Ethernet standard are you hoping to see link in?
Thanks,
Vibhu
Hi:
sir , thank you quick response .
the background is that , we have several automotive product, some product use 83811 connect to MCU, while some product use 88Q2110 connect to MCU, when test the product with PC ,should sue 83811 EVM converter 2wire to 4 wire , it seems the EVM connect to 83811 MCU is very good , but when communication with 88Q2110 , it is failed .
from the 83811 datasheet ,which support below protocol :
100BASE-T1 – IEEE 802.3bw Compliant
– OPEN Alliance Qualified
– Interoperable With BroadR-Reach and100BASE-T1 PHYs
from the 88Q2110 datasheet , which support below protocol:
100BASE-T1 – IEEE 802.3bw Compliant
1000BASE-T1 – IEEE 802.3bp Compliant
I do not know if there have difference .
100BASE-T1 PHYs
Kindly ensure 88Q2110 is configured for 100Base-T1. If configured for 1000Base-T1 it is not expected to link. Also, please check with 88Q2110 vendor whether 100Base-T1 mode is interoperable with other PHYs or not.
