Hi Sir,
Our customer used the DS80PCI800 Repeater, But the Gen3 Preset test fail.
Does DS80PCI800 have register to improve this issue.

an engineer is assigned for this issue and will reply soon.
The DS80PCI800 can not pass all the Tx Presets even with register changes. At the time of introduction, passing a single "preset" was considered a passing device. The linear behavior of this redriver is not quite good enough to recreate the input voltage levels in all preset waveforms. As a result, the waveform voltage calculations are compressed by 1-2 dB which is enough to fail the lower specification limits. When in normal system operation this level of linearity is still sufficient to allow analog link training information to pass on to the PCIe system receiver allowing for normal system operation in PCIe links with high levels of attenuation.
To pass all preset levels I would recommend to try the DS80PCI810. This device is pin compatible with the DS80PCI800. With enhanced linearity, it can pass all Tx preset levels and is on the PCI-SIG integrators list (passed official PCIe Gen3 workshop testing).
