Do we define the "frame count" which can be supported by the 948-Q1 LVDS output? Or do we just multiple resolution by bit color depth and see if it's lower than PCLK?

Hello Roy,
Are you asking about calculating bandwidth support for 948? Please use the following equation:
Total Horizontal x Total Vertical x Frame Rate = PCLK
Then you can confirm that the PCLK value is below the requirement of 192MHz. Note that 94x FPD-Link devices always assume a 24 bit color space and the video bandwidth support doesn't increase or decrease with 18bpp.
