HI team,
My customer is asking the voltage range for the LF pin, LFOLDI pin of DS90UB947? Is it an analog output pin?
Thanks

HI team,

Hi Ted,
The LFOLDI pin is rated for abs max of 1.7V but you should not be applying a voltage to the LFOLDI pin.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your reply. LF and LFOLDI should be an output pin, so what's the voltage for these 2 pins? And when these 2 pins will output below 0.3V?
Thanks
Hi Ted,
LF and LFOLDI pins are not output pins they are loop filter pins. they should not be connected to anything else other than the cap to GND. I am not sure what voltage they will be but why do you want to know what voltage they will be?

Michael W.
Hi Michael,
Previously we have some issue on the 947 when in low temperature test, and customer test on device that has the issue and found the LF pin voltage is below 0.3V, and they've also tried to test other normal devices and all above 0.6V.
They also found that the LF pin voltage on the issued device is always around 0.3V even at 25 degree room temperature. Now due to the sample not very big(1/20), they want to check if it's only coincidence or it's related to the low-temp issue?
Thanks
Hi Ted,
I cannot say that the loop filer pins being below .3V is the cause of a problem with our device at cold temp. It could be a symptom of another problem that is causing the LF pins to not be .6V. What were the other symptoms of this cold temp issue? What what the procedure to cause this issue?

Michael W.
