Hello,

I would like ask you about the upper limit of Vpoc. Unfortunately I cannot find it in the datasheet. The AC coupling capacitor is 100nF/50V and assuming the fast ramp of switching on Vpoc is there any limitation of max. value of Vpoc voltage? I want to use Vpoc=+15.0V .

Hello Viktor,

the recommended max current for the PoC Circuits in the datasheets is 250mA.

If you are looking for more current then feel free to design your own PoC filter using only Inductors.

Hello,

Thank you for fast response. The DC current is not my problem I want to discus. I would like to known max. voltage. If I connect Vpoc voltage on the RF line, the step response of this voltage occurs also on the output pin Dout+ because of (quite high) decouping capacitance CAC1 - see datasheet DS90UB953-Q1. So what is the max. peak voltage on the pins Dout+/- ?

Using 15V or even 24V is not problem. Make sure the AC-coupling capacitors are having 50V rating as per the d/s.
