Serializer/deserializer LVDS to MIPI CSI-2

Hey!

I have looked through the available products and cannot find a solution to my problem. I require to connect SONY FCB-EV7520A to NVIDIA Jetson TX2 w/ a development kit.

Sony camera has an output LVDS as follows:

Digital : Y / Pb / Pr 4:2:2 (LVDS)
(Y: 8 bit, C: 8 bit, Vsync, Hsync, Field, Clock) (SMPTE274M/SMPTE296M)

I need a pair of serializer and deserializer to convert from LVDS to a single wire and then single wire to MIPI CSI-2, that's the want ... but all possibilities are acceptable.

Please take a look at the SN65LVDS822 and the SN65LVDS315 for the LVDS to MIPI CSI solution.

To clarify, the SN65LVDS315 is for MIPI CSI-1. For MIPI CSI-2 you can use the DS90UB954-Q1 FPD-Link III deserializer. I am not sure what LVDS FPD-LINK III serializers are compatible with this though, so I'll go ahead and move this thread to the FPD-Link section for additional input.

Hello Yury,

You can use DS90UB947-Q1 for the serializer to take in single or dual LVDS. Then you can pair with DS90UB940-Q1 to convert to CSI-2.

Thanks Casey! Most likely this pair of of chips resolves my initial problem.

I would like to ask another question, is there a similar pair of SerDes for 4K camera? For example Sony FCB-ER8300 or Sony FCB-ER8230? These cameras have HDMI (TMDS) output, but the frequency is much higher 296.703 Mhz.
