Hi team,
How to connect the unused RIN1+- pins of 934 if this channel is not used? Leave them floating or terminate them to GND via 47 nF cap and 50 ohm resistor, are they both OK? Which one is better? Thanks.

Arie

Hello Arie,
If Port 1 is unused, you have two options, and both of them are okay.
1) Leave Pins NC and set Reg 0x0C[1]=0 (RX_PORT_CTL) to disable this input, or
2) Terminate with 47nF and 50 ohm resistor to GND.
Hi Hamzeh,
Thanks for your quick reply. For 934, the Reg 0x0C is reserved, so can I just leave the RIN1+- pins NC and do nothing to the register?
BR,
Arie
Hello Arie,
you are correct. You can leave RIN1 pins NC, but you need to make sure SEL pin (46) is low (for chosing RIN0)
