DS90UB913A-Q1: DS90UB913A-Q1: GPIO[3] Use as Input

HI Team,

We Want to use DS90UB913A-Q1 GPIO[3] as General Purpose Input , As per datasheet it can be used for CLK input only.

Can we use this GPIO[3]  as General Purpose Input ?

    Hi Krunalkumar,

    Which mode are you using? If you are using the external oscillator mode, then GPIO3 can only be used for external oscillator. If using pixel clock from imager mode, then GPIO3 should be able to function as a general purpose input.

    Thanks for the response, Will you please check the following lines in datasheet and confirm once again so that we will have more confidence on this PIN configured as General Purpose Input?

    Hello,

    My apologies for the confusion.

    913A does not have any GPIOs, only GPOs. If you need to send an additional signal through the forward channel then you would need to use one of the video data bits as an input instead of for video. Or the 913A side can access the remote deserializer via I2C if there is a local master at the serializer
