Can it communicate with the external device in BIST mode?  The external device connect by MatENET interface.  Thanks.

    Hi Ansel,

    According to the datasheet in section 8.3.3.5 "The BIST circuit can be used to test the integrity of transmit and receive data paths. BIST can be enabled while using internal loopbacks (MII, PCS or analog) or external loopback when using a Link Partner configured for Reverse Loopback."


    If you have a link partner you may use BIST in reverse loopback.
