We made one custom board based on imX 6 solo where we are connecting PHY through RGMII ? Phy is not getting probed in software , when we probe MDC ping ping we observed that MDC clock is always
coming ?
1)If this behavior is okay ?
2) what should be the flow for debugging this issue ?
3) We are not sure if our phy is not responding or iMX is not properly configured ? How i can isolate this ? what are basic minimum signals which i should expect from iMX before phy works perfectly fine?
