Hi TI Team,
We are using DS90UB913A Serializer (connected with Image sensor) and DS90UB936 DeSerializer (connected with Host Processor). The Ser-DeSer are connected via a 1 meter long STP cable.
We are ABLE to communicate with the DeSerializer from the Host Processor.
But we are NOT ABLE to establish a communication link with between the Ser-DeSer pair. We suspect this because the LOCK status is coming out to be low on the LOCK pin as well in the DeSer register 0x04
(Value in reg 0x04 = 0xD3).
Further we placed the DeSer in BIST mode by pulling up the BISTEN to 1.8 V, DeSer GPIO-0 to 0V and DeSer GPIO-1 to 1.2V. During BIST operation as well, the LOCK pin status is coming out to be low.
> Could you please let me know the probable cases where communication link does not get established between Ser-DeSer?
> We are not giving any clock signal on Serializer PCLK pin as of now. Is this clock required to communicate with the Serializer ?
