DP83867IR: Does DP83867 support forced 1000 Mbps mode?

Hello team,

My customer has a design with DP83867 and can’t get DP83867 to operate in forced 1000 Mbps modes (auto-neg disabled, master or slave). Does DP83867 support forced 1000 Mpbs? If Yes, how should they configure the registers to have the PHY operate in this mode?

Write register 0x0000 to 0x0140 to force 1000BASE-T operation.

Hello Cecilia,

My customer tried the writing to register 0x0000 to 0x0140 to force 1000BASE-T operation, but it doesn’t work; Link can’t be established. Is there anything other steps in the process needed for it to establish link?

Hi Errol,

When you try to establish link with your link partner, can you send me the register dump of the PHY so I can see what state it is in?
