Hello Support team,

Customer inquires two questions, could you support?

*Which TPS65987D support for sending data, little endian or big endian?

E.g. GUI shows "0x78 00 00 00 14 14 00 80 00 00 00 02 00 01", in case of little endian, data need to send "0x01 00 02 00 00 00 80 00 14 14 00 00 00 78" in turn.

*After VCC are removed, does all register reset and go back to default value?

Hello,

The TPS65987D support little endian. For example, if your customer is wanting the read the power path status register (0x26), the first byte received would be the number of bytes in the register (8), the second byte received would be the 1 byte of the 0x26 register as defined in the Host interface Technical Reference Manual, then followed by bytes 2 through 8.

Thank you for your support. I understand that TPS65987D support little endian for read/write, if my understanding is not correct, please let me know.

Does TPS65987D reset all information on register and they have to write their setting again after VCC shutdown?

Yes, the PD controller resets all information on each power cycle
