TUSB3410: Cannot find TUSB3410 device in COM Port

Part Number: TUSB3410

Dear Team,

My customer would like to use TUSB3410 to convert USB to UART. They prefer to use the external EEPROM.

So they tried to flash the bin file through EEPROM burner. Follow below steps:

1. Choose the file from C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments Inc\TUSB3x10 EEPROM Burner\Aploader\ tusb3410_eeprom_burner.bin

2. Select 128Kbit

3. Program (With JP2 jumper on EVM)

And then they can see USB input device in Human Interface Devices(Device Manager). But it doesn't show in COM Port.

So they cannot use Tera Term or PUTTY to read the information from UART.

Do you know how could I let it be COM Port instead of USB input device? Do we have such firmware?

Thank you.

Regards,

Jim
