Hi,

One of our customers want to know why the replacement to TPS65982ABZQZR which is the TPS65982ABZBHR is NOT an exact equivalent if the hardware and software are the same and if means no changes to the customer. What does the "NOT an exact equivalent" entail?

Are the pin configurations any different?

Hi Soumya,

The only difference is that the package height of the TPS65982ABZBHR is thinner than the TPS65982ABZQZR, you can see this in the package drawings shown in the datasheet. There are no other changes. They are a p2p, HW and SW drop-in.
