TFP401A: TFP401A+DS90C387A configuration for dual-LVDS

We have a design using the TFP401A+DS90C387A to provide HDMI-to-Dual-lane LVDS interface for a 15.6" LCD.

The design is up and running, the colors look correct, frequencies have been verified correct, except there appears to be a single pixel shift... almost like the EVEN<>ODD pixels are swapped...

We've been through the design several times and cannot find an issue.

I'd like someone with experience in using these ICs in conjunction, to review our schematic and help us determine the problem.

This is holding up an important delivery of prototypes and subsequent orders.

Hi Mark,

Is this only one board you're seeing this issue on or is it multiple?

Can you send the schematic, datasheet for the 15.6" LCD, and an image/video of the pixel shift on the LCD to me at i-anyiam@ti.com?

We have 2 units assembled, both performing exactly the same.

We have verified the LCD itself is good with a DP-to-LVDS board from other 3-letter mfgr.

SOLVED!

I.K. suggested swapping the EVEN<>ODD LVDS connections at the LCD and this resolved the issue!

All the documentation shows connecting the way I had it (multiple people reviewed the design and agreed)

Don't understand what is flipped... but it works with EVEN going to ODD and ODD going to EVEN.
