Dear Team,

Customer are designing with our deseri 954, and want to know XIN spec.

I have found an E2E post which recommend follow datasheet for XIN design.

Did we need to follow REFCLK spec(datasheet 7.4.4) even when we design with crystal(XIN)? or we just need to refer to XIN(7.4.5)

    Hello Ben,

    When using an external oscillator such as a crystal for setting the clock of the 954, follow the Crystal Recommendations section of the datasheet (7.4.5). However, the specification is actually similar. The REFCLK section splits the frequency tolerance and frequency stability into two parameters, while the Crystal Recommendations combines them into one parameter.
