SN65DSI84: Can SN65DSI84 support 8 pair lanes output?

Hi Team,

My customer is looking for the MIPI to LVDS device, the device output need support 8 pair lanes? Could you please confirm if SN65DSI84 can meet the requirements? If not, is there any other device to recommend?

Hi Hao,

Yes, the SN65DSI84 can support 8 lane outputs. The mode is called single channel DSI to dual channel LVDS, where the device takes in 4 DSI data lanes + 1 clock lane and outputs 8 LVDS data lanes + 2 clock lanes.
