Hi Elan,
1. The kits come with just the EVM and a USB cable. You will need a 12V supply to power them and a cable to connect the two.
2. The FPD-Link output on the 941 and the FPD-Link input on the 940 both are the same connector.
3. With our EVM we recommend the following:
For optimal performance, we recommend Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) 100ohm differential impedance and 24 AWG (or larger diameter) cable for high-speed data applications.
