DS250DF230: How to change reference clock frequency of DS250DF230 from 30.72MH to 25MH

 T​he default reference clock of the DS250DF230 is 30.72MH.

The customer wants to use a 25MH reference clock.

Excuse me, which register changes the reference frequency?​

    Hi,

    There is not separate register that is required for retimer operation at 25MHz vs 30.72MHz CAL_CLK_IN. The host needs to simply set the desired reference clock signal frequency and then configure the retimer channel registers for CDR rate for the data rate in question with the corresponding 25MHz or 30.72MHz calculation. Refer to the programming guide.
