TPS65988DJ: How to identify the connection is USB2 or USB3?

Hi team,

As title, how are we going to know the connection is USB2 or USB3? Cause there's no connection from PD to high speed data line. From register 0x5F shows USB2 or USB3 connection. May I know how does these bit set by what information?

    Hi Oliver,

    My understanding is that for a legacy USB 2 device, this information would be shared by the cable being connected to the Type-C port. As defined within the spec, bits 0:2 of the Active Cable VDO inform the data functionality that the cable can support.
