TDP142: Impedance, Longest and shortest length mismatch specification

Hi Sir,

1. In document page 26, it's mentioned impedance of IN and OUT should be routed with controlled 100 ohm, But Intel use 85 ohm impedance, should I use 85 ohm as input and output as 100 ohm?

or both 85 ohm for input and output?

2. What is the "Longest and shortest length group mismatch" specification? (mils)

Hi Kyle,

1. Use the datasheet's 100 ohm specification.

2. By group mismatch, do you mean between the input and the output lanes?

Our recommendation for inter-pair and intra-pair mismatch is less than 5 mils for all high-speed signal devices.
