HD3SS3220: Layout Question

Hi Team,

How do I layout this part? The pin 16 and 17 are flipped with respect to my Type-C connector. Do you have any other layout examples besides the EVM and datasheet documentation? Or can you provide me design files?

Hi Emma,

HD3SS3220 doe not care about the TX and RX polarity, meaning that you can swap pin 16 and pin 17 if it is convenient to your layout. See "Figure 11. DFP Application Using HD3SS3220DFP" in datasheet for schematic example. If you need high speed layout guidelines please see the document below.
