My customer is wondering if they can connect interrupt as below connection. May I know if it is workable? Thanks a lot!

pin INTA# --> external INTC#
pin INTB# --> external INTD#
pin INTC# --> external INTA#
pin INTD# --> external INTB#

Hello,

The interrupt pin assignment is fixed by the PCI(e) specifications. It is recommended to connect them as follows:

pin INTA# --> external INTA#
pin INTB# --> external INTB#
pin INTC# --> external INTC#
pin INTD# --> external INTD#

If the interrupt lines are not routed correctly, the software would have to be changed to be able to handle the correct interrupt. (And "software" probably includes parts of the OS.)

What driver? The PCIe bridge driver is probably part of the OS.
