Hi team,
What is the recommended external resistor range for DIR, ID, INT_N, VCONN_FAULT_N?
Customer wants to use 220kohm resistor instead of 200kohm.

Saito

Hi Malik-san,
Sorry for reopen the thread. Could you explain me why 220kohm should be okay for normal operation?
Why does the datasheet set the 200kohm (nom) pull up resistor for these pins?
Regards,
Saito
Hi Saito-san,
HD3SS3220 open drain operate such that the voltage on the pin is pulled to GND when a certain state is asserted. The weak pull up is installed on the pin to show the de-asserted state. Since 220Kohm is weaker than 200 Kohm, HD3SS3220 can pill the pin down when pull up is installed. Does this answer your question.
