PCA9539: PCA9539 pin to pin compitable device with internal pull-up resistor

Hi Expert,

Do we have a pin 2 pin compatible device with PCA9539, and has internal pull-up resistor?

I have found PCA9555 is the mostly like one, but it is not p2p, pins function is different.

    Hello Shenhua,

    Our 9555 series are our internal pull up devices. It looks like the only difference between the two devices is that pin 3 is the A2 pin on the 9555 while 9539 is the reset pin. Going from a reset in 9539 to an address pin in 9555 would not cause problems in terms of hardware set up. No PCB modifications would need to be made to make the change work.

    I would also recommend our TCA line up over the PCA line up (TCA9555 recommended over PCA9555). We have improved the Vcc ranges, power supply requirements, and cost structure for our TCA devices.

    The next closest device would be TCA6416A. Then possibly a PCF series device though this has a much different pin out and software set up (this device does not have internal registers).
