Hi team,

My customer wants to find the solution to replace the mcp2518 which is a SPI to CAN device. Do you have some suggestions to recommend? Thanks.

    Frank,

    The closest device we have to this is the TCAN4550-Q1, which is a SPI-to-CAN transceiver + controller integrated, while the MCP2518 is just the controller. If they customer does not have use for the transceiver integrated into the TCAN4550-Q1, it can also be used as a controller only just by some simple SPI commands to change the configuration.
